Cinque Terre, Italy
When
I got to La Spezia there was quite a bit of trouble and confusion on
how to get to Cinque Terre I had to take another local train but
couldn't find anyone to help me get on the right train so I walked to
the tourist office, the town itself was pretty interesting looking and
nice especially on the waterfront, had some hassle changing money at
the bank and they had a pretty sophisticated double door system where u
leave you bags outside, but I finally figured it all out and got on the
right train. The train took me to this village, RioMaggiore that was
basically built in the rocks the hostel was booked and I didn't like
the village much anyways the roads were way to steep and it was very
small and cramped. At the hostel after I pressed them for a bit they
found me a room in a town down the way, I'm so glad they did. The town
I went to was called Levanto and it was wonderful. It was on the water,
the hostel was nice and the people were friendly enough. Laid out on
the rocks at the beach and swam a bit, the water was so clean and blue.
They had some kind of religious parade that night, it was interesting
and I ate way too many Italian ice creams. Found out I could understand
a little bit of Italian.
