Salzburg, Austria; Vienna, Austria
On
the third day I took the 3-hour train to Vienna. Vienna was a big
bustling city with not too much to do. There is Stephens dome and old
church and a carnival park. The carnival was good, I think it runs all
year round and had many rides named after famous movies: Superman, and
a blatant Star Wars Rip-off but I guess the (movie) studios don't have
Jurisdiction over here to sue them or just don't care. The coolest ride
they had was a hot air balloon which was attached to a chain and it
pulls it down and then lets the chain back up to load and unload
passengers, this is a really cool idea but I was surprised it only had
one chain to hold it. I only ended up spending 4 hours in Vienna but I
had seen enough. Back to Salzburg.
