Travel diary

Munich, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland

July the 5th I headed for Zurich and met a family from Orlando on the platform in Munich while I was waiting for the train. The dad is a chemistry professor at Valencia where I went to school in Orlando and some of my friends had him for class.

Zurich was a nice enough town but as is par for the course in Switzerland it was expensive. The do however offer free water fountains all over the place, which isn't average in Europe. I saw a fountain in Dresden like this too but didn't realize what it was for until someone told me. They are usually statues spewing forth water into some kind of pool or stone bath the water is very clean and looks clear when you hold it up to the light. I met a guy from Sweden, Milos and two guys from Columbia.
